DaXtra’s 2017 international growth strategy brings on five new hires

The new year has brought much growth to DaXtra with new appointments globally in APAC, the UK and the U.S. As part of our ongoing expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, DaXtra has hired an Asia Client Services Manager in our Hong Kong office and a Country General Manager in China. Next month, the UK will add a Marketing Manager and on the U.S. front, the Americas division has added a Regional Sales Director and a Business Development Manager, both working out of our Berkeley, CA office.

Benjamin Joshua (BJ) Blumenthal joins us as Daxtra Technologies’ Asia Client Services Manager. His role at DaXtra will be to manage our APAC Account Management team and implement and maintain the highest standards of service to our growing APAC customer base. BJ brings 15 years of experience in recruitment along with an in-depth knowledge of the APAC recruitment market. Previously, he was a client of Daxtra, and DaXtra a client of his, a formidable relationship. BJ is based out of Daxtra's APAC Headquarters in Hong Kong.

As Daxtra's new Country General Manager in China, Paul Xiao brings a wealth of experience in setting up, growing and running successful sales operations in China for some of the biggest names in the tech industry, including Dell, Oracle, Huawei, Dell/EMC, IBM and most recently, MongoDB. Before joining Daxtra, Paul was Sales Director of Greater China at MongoDB, Inc., a leading NoSQL database provider, where he led the company into breaking new ground in China.  His strong passion for software and emerging technologies has enabled him to lead change within the industry.  Paul holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Economics and is currently enrolled in a Senior Specialist of Clinical Phycology master’s program at Peking University. He is based out of Daxtra's offices in Shenzhen, China's largest tech hubs hosting the country’s behemoths like Tencent, Huawei, DJI and others.

In the UK, Solène Tatton-Brown joins DaXtra in March. She will be based in London as our new EMEA Marketing Manager. Holding a Master's degree in Marketing & Communications as well as a BA (Hons) double degree in European Management from Westminster University in London and CeseMed, Solène has over 10 years’ experience in marketing, PR and event management. She previously held positions at Pleon, the French-American Chamber of Commerce, Euro Disney and SES. She has lived, worked, and studied in France, the UK and US; travelled in Europe and North America; and has a strong interest in different business and work cultures. She speaks fluent French and English and has good knowledge of Spanish.

Angela Messina joins the DaXtra U.S. Sales Team as Regional Sales Director. Angela comes to DaXtra from Aerotek where she’s spent the last seven years impacting the growth of their Energy Services division. Angela spent the first year of her career with Aerotek as a recruiter, and for the past six years has been working as a top producing Account Manager. As an Account Manager with Aerotek Energy Services, Angela was responsible for managing a team of recruiters and the growth of current accounts while actively developing new business in her territory.

Our new Business Development Manager, Aunjel Perry comes to DaXtra with a solid background in staffing and sales. In his last role, he worked a full-cycle desk with a staffing firm in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was responsible for sales, recruiting and payroll, among many other duties.  In addition, Aunjel also has inside sales and customer service experience from Comcast and E-Loan.

With this expansion, we at DaXtra hope to better serve and meet the needs of our customers, locally as well as globally, with the best and brightest additions. 2017 is shaping up to be a stellar year of development!
